Your profile:

        • A successfully completed technical college or university degree in civil engineering or a related field
        • You will be responsible for calculations and structural analysis of the OTTOBAHN infrastructure under static and dynamic loads)
        • You will coordinate and oversee collaboration with engineering partners and contractors
        • You will represent OTTOBAHN in external engagements

Your responsibilities:

        • You will assume partial project responsibility for the OTTOBAHN infrastructure
        • You have knowledge of the design principles of machine components such as bearings, shafts, etc.
        • Experience in steel construction – design, geometric product specifications and tolerances, manufacturing, as well as the DIN EN 1993 (Eurocode 3) and DIN EN 1090 (EXC3)
        • Proficiency in CAD, FEM, or dedicated steel construction software (e.g., SolidWorks, RFEM, Tekla Structures)
        • Ideally, experience or expertise in welding, preferably, further qualification as a welding engineer
        • An independent and goal-oriented work style
        • You have very good German and English skills

Your profile:
        • Experience with the BOStrab approval process and safety management
        • Experience with risk analysis methods
        • Knowledge of functional safety standards such as IEC 62061, IEC 61508, EN 50126, or ISO 13849
        • A degree in engineering is desirable
        • Passion for new solutions and an unconventional way of thinking
        • Motivation to work conscientiously and goal-oriented in a collaborative work environment
Your responsibilities:
        • Leading the homologation/ type approval process, particularly validating compliance with all risk mitigation measures
        • Providing support and advice with a focus on safety-related topics during reviews/meetings and across the entire engineering team
        • Communicating with third parties, such as certification bodies or regulatory authorities
        • Supporting control system and mechanical engineers in achieving project goals during the product’s development phase

        • You have experience with cloud infrastructure providers (GCP, AWS or Azure)
        • You have experience in full-stack web development (we currently use Go, MongoDB and React, but this isn’t essential)
        • You have experience in team-oriented software development

Your profile:
        • You have successfully completed a technical college or university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field, or have completed an apprenticeship as an electrical systems designer or similar, with professional experience.
        • You already have some experience in circuit design and/or control panel planning
        • You have very good knowledge of a common EDA program (e.g., Autodesk Eagle, SolidWorks, PCB Design, or similar) and, ideally, circuit simulation (e.g., LTspice, SPICE)
        • You can solder and crimp and possess good manual dexterity
        • Some experience with SolidWorks Electrical is a plus
        • Experience in wiring harness planning/design is a plus
Your responsibilities:
        • Electronics / Electrical Engineering
        • Component selection and testing
        • Control cabinet engineering and design
        • Estimating power requirements
        • Design and Planning of the Circuit and Wiring Harness
        • Validation and setup on the test bench and test track
